Congregate Living Facilities Zoning Ordinance Amendment
On January 13, 2026, the Board of Supervisors authorized public hearings on a proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment for Congregate Living Facilities. The proposed amendment would update the definition of a congregate living facility, expand the zoning districts in which congregate living facilities may be permitted by special exception, establish new special exception submission requirements, and introduce use standards applicable to congregate living facilities in commercial and industrial districts.
Planning Commission Public Hearing: Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.
Board of Supervisors Public Hearing: Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
