From 18 February 2026, here’s what you’ll find in our updated Privacy Notices:

Biometric Data Notice
|
We’ve updated our Biometric Data Notice (formerly Facial Scan Privacy Notice) to better cover the data we may use. We also have clearer wording on why we collect and process this data.

Geolocation
|
We’ve specified why we might ask for your permission to access your device's location. It helps us keep your account secure and allows us to send you useful tips when you're traveling abroad. You can change your location preferences at any time in your device’s settings.

Marketing from Wise Group Companies
|
We have added information on how we process your personal data to suggest similar products provided by Wise Group Companies. For example, Wise Assets for Multi-Currency Account holders — where available.

Young Explorer Notice
|
We now have a separate privacy notice for children to explain how Wise protects their personal data when they use their card. This change applies only to personal accounts as this feature isn’t available for Wise Business.
