Hollywood Casino announced Tuesday that it will be bringing a Pennsylvania-based luxury wellness spa to the $360 million casino resort currently under construction in Aurora.

The West Aurora School District board is eyeing $1.2 million in proposed interior renovations to be done at several schools in the district this summer, including the modernization of the West Aurora High School Blue Fieldhouse.

At around 4:08 a.m. on Tuesday, Aurora police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 600 block of South LaSalle Street, police said. On their way, officers were told that a woman had been shot outside a residence.

The district is set to use the property for offices, support services and storage, which are currently being hosted at other facilities.
