PTSA Meeting Recap
We had a wonderful meeting last week in the school's new conference room!
The presentation is available online in our in the SY 2025-26 folder (meeting minutes are being finalized and will be posted soon).
FBLA club: We heard from FBLA club advisor Kerry Sparrow about a great volunteer opportunity to support Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club as a judge at the upcoming Regional Competition from 9am - 12:30pm Tuesday, February 17 at Robinson High School. 14 FCHS students will be participating this year. Events include: Graphic Design, Network Design, Impromptu Speaking, Coding and Programming, and Data Analysis.

Get2Green club: We also heard a fantastic presentation from members of the Get2Green club on the benefits of bringing solar power to FCPS. Their presentation slides are included within our meeting deck, and you're also encouraged to learn more through this YouTube presentation. For anyone interested in sending a letter voicing support for expanding solar in Fairfax County, please visit this link https://actionnetwork.org/letters/fcps-solar.
Finally, if anyone is interested in serving on the Executive Board next year or would like to help PTSA recruit candidates for board positions, please contact president@fchsptsa.org.
Our next PTSA member meeting will take place Feb. 19.
Jaguar Pantry Update
Big news for our Jaguar Pantry! The FCHS Family Resource Center’s Parent Liaison recently secured a partnership with Food For Others (FFO) to help provide bags of food to select families twice each month through the rest of the school year.
The Jaguar Pantry has been asked and has committed to help supplement the food provided from FFO with additional food and hygiene items. We will also continue our 100 weekly weekend packs for students.
These efforts will require additional donations and volunteer hours and we know our community of Pantry supporters will step up to meet this challenge!
