This is a reminder that Friday, January 30, is a previously scheduled teacher workday. This means that there is no school for students.
In response to the extremely cold weather, all FCPS fields and outdoor facilities are closed, but school buildings will remain open for community use and other FCPS activities.
We ask that when possible and safe to do so, families have an adult drive their child to and from activities happening at school.
SACC and Beyond the Bell will be open. Families should visit the SACC/Beyond the Bell webpage for times and additional details.
In an effort to support students who may be experiencing food insecurity while our schools are closed, Fairfax County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) is providing meal kits for students tomorrow. The Food and Nutrition webpage has additional details about the meal kits and where they can be collected. No proof of eligibility or identification is required.
The FCPS website and the FCPS mobile app will have additional information and updates.
