It's SoxFest weekend, and the White Sox kicked things off Thursday with a community event at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, Bartlett J. McCartin Club in Bridgeport.

Among the topics GM Chris Getz and manager Will Venable discussed was the recent addition of reliever Seranthony Domínguez.

“He’s got big stuff and he’s got an ability to get both-sided hitters out,” Getz said. “We felt like he was the top remaining reliever on the market, and we’re excited we were able to convert on it.”
