Dear Lake Anne Families,
We hope you enjoyed the recent snow days and were able to spend some extra time together as a family. ❄️ We would also like to share our sincere appreciation for our custodial team, who worked incredibly hard to clear snow and prepare the building and grounds for a safe return to school. We are looking forward to welcoming our dolphins back on Monday and settling back into our routines.
As we return, please remember to send all school-issued devices (laptops or iPads) and chargers back to school with students on Monday so they are ready for learning.
Being at school regularly helps students stay connected, build relationships, and make the most of each learning day. Right now, our school’s chronic absenteeism rate is 11.8%, and we truly appreciate your partnership in helping students attend school as consistently as possible. Every day together in the classroom matters.

Family Game Night is back!! It will be on Friday, February 6th in the Cafeteria from 5:30-7:30pm. Lots of board games will be available to learn and play, or feel free to bring your own favorite game. Follow this link to preview the games that will be there! Pizza & snacks will be available for purchase. Preorder pizza here! PTA will also be accepting donations of new or gently used games and will be re-selling them at the event for a small fee. Come to play or sign up to help out here! *Please note, this is not a drop off event, all students must be accompanied by an adult*
 
There is an in-person PTA meeting on Wednesday, February 11th in the cafeteria. Dinner (pizza, desserts, and drinks) will be provided at 6:30pm and the meeting will start at 7:00pm. Students who attend are invited to a Financial Literacy activity (target age 1st-3rd grade) presented in the library.

The Snack Attack Hot Chocolate and Sweets for staff has been rescheduled to Friday, February 13th. Check out the sign up here to volunteer to bring something or make any necessary changes based on the new date. |
Lake Anne's SkateQuest Ice Skating event has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 22nd from 3:10-5:10pm. If you already signed up, your ticket transfers and we hope to see you on the new date (please email president@lakeanne-pta.org if you have a conflict and require a refund). If you have not gotten your tickets yet, get them here!
 
We have our Chuck E. Cheese fundraiser on Friday, February 27th at 4:00pm. It's going to be a great time, come have fun with friends!
Our monthly Dolphin Donation Drive for February will be individually wrapped snacks. Please drop them off in the main office throughout the month!
