Dear RHES Families,
Due to the recent school closure related to the snow, FCPS made a slight adjustment to the distribution of progress reports. Progress reports will be sent home with students on Friday, February 6, 2026, and they will be posted in ParentVUE on Monday, February 9 at 6:00 a.m.
I would also like to extend a huge thank you to our incredible custodial team for their tireless efforts clearing parking lots, sidewalks, and door entrances to ensure our building is safe and ready. We are also extremely grateful to Merrifield Nursery, who brought in two front-end loaders along with additional manpower yesterday—this support made a tremendous difference. As always, please continue to monitor FCPS communications for any updates related to school closures or schedule changes. When making your way to school, please use caution, as neighborhood sidewalks may not yet be clear. There should be no parking on Rose Hill Drive, as this creates unsafe conditions for both children and adults. Students and families should only cross the road at designated crosswalks. Kiss & Ride remains the safest option for arrival.
The building has been extraordinarily quiet, and we are truly looking forward to welcoming our students back very soon.
