Message from Principal

Dear Clermont Families,

Due to the recent school closure related to the snow, FCPS made a slight adjustment to the distribution of progress reports. Progress reports will be sent home with students on Friday, February 6, 2026, and they will be posted in ParentVUE on Monday, February 9 at 6:00 a.m.

I would also like to extend a huge thank you to our incredible custodial team for their tireless efforts clearing parking lots, sidewalks, and door entrances to ensure our building is safe and ready.

Please be on the lookout for an email on Sunday regarding arrival and dismissal procedures as our traffic patterns have been hindered by the snow and ice.

The building has been extraordinarily quiet, and we are truly looking forward to welcoming our students back very soon.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Warm regards, Roxanne Salata Principal

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration: It’s as Easy as 1-2-3…

There’s an easy five-step process for parents wanting to register their child for kindergarten:

  1. Determine eligibility.
  2. Identify your local school.
  3. Gather documents.
  4. Fill out forms.
  5. Schedule an appointment.

After the appointment at the school (the student and one caregiver must be present), the student will be ready for orientation or any other introductory events each school may host. Read more about the registration process. For more information, call our student information assistant/registrar at 703-921-2400.
