Principal's Message

Hello, Scottie families!

We hope everyone was able to stay safe and warm this week, and that there were opportunities to get outside and enjoy the snow (when not digging out from it!).  A huge thank you to our custodians, who have worked tirelessly all week to ensure that our sidewalks are as clear as possible of snow and ice.  When we return next week, please be cautious and patient, as there will be spots still somewhat covered along some walkways.  Thank you for the support as we navigate the cold and piles of snow in the coming days and weeks.

Stay safe and warm this weekend.  We look forward to seeing our students again on Monday.

Morgan Birge, Principal

Rose Stephens, Assistant Principal

Natalie Vershaw, Assistant Principal

FCPS Devices and Power Cords - Bring Back to School

Students brought their FCPS device (laptop or iPad) and power cord home to use during the snow days.
The FCPS device and power cord need to be returned to Bonnie Brae on the first day back to school after our snow days. Please remind your child to charge the device before returning it to school.

Voluntary Student Insurance

Fairfax County Public Schools does not provide medical insurance for accidents that occur at school. Parents may want to consider if purchasing voluntary student insurance is right for their family.

K & K Insurance Group has student accident insurance coverage available for purchase by parents. If you do not have other insurance, this plan may be a resource to consider. Additionally, even if you have other coverage, this plan can help fill expensive gaps caused by deductibles and co-pays. Coverage may be purchased at any time during the school year.  Learn more about K & K Student Accident Insurance on the FCPS Voluntary Student Insurance webpage.
