Summer

With all the recent winter weather, summer seems far away. However, now is the time to plan for summer camps for the kiddos. The McLean Community Center offers a wide variety of educational camps (with 1-% off for MCC district residents). For more information, visit: MCC Summer Program Guide 2026.

Another option for summer educational programs is hosted by FCPS' Career and Technical Education (CTE) office during the month of July, including:

Tech Adventure Camp: Current Kindergarten - grade 5 students explore Business/Marketing, Family + Consumer Sciences, Health + Medical Sciences, STEAM, and Trades by rotating through daily classes.
Visit the Tech Adventure Camp webpage HERE

CTE Summer Academy: Current grade 6 - 11 students choose their classes and dive deeper into CTE program areas, skills, and career exploration.
