Hi there!

Have you already have time to check out the new home page? Creating an account is free, and it gives you access to previous and ongoing week's puzzles, and makes it easy to check your own results for each day.

Or does it? A couple of users have reported that not all of their results show up on the home page. I've been investigating the issue and found some potential reasons for this. If you experience issues with your results not appearing on the home page in the future, please reach out (by for example replying to this mail) so I know the issue is still there. Or any other issue for that matter.

One thing confusing some people is that it only shows your first result for the day. But what if you want to replay the puzzles to fill the page with those pretty green squares? To help with this, I will soon implement a way for you to compare your first, your fastest and your most accurate results. And this is just one of the many cool improvements I'll be working on in the upcoming weeks. I'm also open for ideas, so reach out if there is something you'd like to see. After all, it's called the home page, so it should feel like a place where you want to hang out once in a while!

There is at least one feature many have requested: Seeing the top times for perfect solves. I think I will introduce that as well eventually, but as I've mentioned before, those stats aren't that interesting in the end. Turns out the perfect results are almost the same, but slightly faster. Makes sense, since by filtering out results with hints and mistakes, you're left with the most experienced players, who are also the fastest.

While these stats and links are now easily accessible from the home page, I'll keep sharing them here as well! So here's last week's top 1% / 10% / 50% times, % perfect solves and % solves with no hints.

Perhaps Sunday should have been rated evil? Though I don't think it was nearly as evil as the bonus puzzle #4 below...
