We love Dallas and the people who support our work. Let me tell you why.

Whether you’ve just been a reader of the Dallas Observer, supported us financially, or even both, our newsroom couldn’t have gotten to where we are today (and still free) without YOU. But we haven’t taken that for granted, as our reporters and editors continue to work hard to bring you the same high-quality, accurate journalism that you expect from us day after day. 

And it shows. As much as we appreciate you, we love hearing how we’ve affected your lives, your friends' or family's lives, and the lives of Dallasites.

Just take it from Lynn, who told us: “I value a free and independent press that speaks truth to power! Plus, you provide local information I can't get anywhere else.”

Or maybe you’re like Kathleen, who said: “I read the Observer all the time. I use it for community activities, as well as insights into the restaurant and music scene.”

No matter if you’ve directly expressed your love to us or not, we’re still so grateful that we’ve been able to make a difference in how you approach everyday life. But if you’d like — especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner — there’s still time to express those feelings for the Dallas Observer.
