Today, while taking my usual walk in the countryside, I came across this bizarre construction. It took me a moment to realize it was a podium... an Olympic one!
My heart immediately filled with tenderness as I thought of the kids who must have built it.
I pictured them in front of a screen, admiring their sports heroes, dreaming of a glorious future, well aware that they would almost certainly never have it.
Yet, their imagination and creativity must have inspired and motivated them to build something that could give them the glory of victory and the joy of celebration.
I remembered all the times I, too, was told as a child: "The important thing is not winning, but participating"!
But these kids gave concrete form to this principle and made me reflect on how easy it is, as children, to enjoy every moment. And how often, as adults, we forget this. The "adult" mind always races toward the goal, always chasing victory, the next milestone, and for that mind, no goal is ever enough.
So, sometimes we should all become a little child again and play at life, remembering that medals are within everyone's reach, every day.
You don't have to be an Olympic champion to win in life!
So... a little more Tantra and a little less "adult" mind, everyone!
And, if you want to train for this, we have the right training for you:
