Office of the Spokesperson The below is attributable to Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott: Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono today in Washington, D.C. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Sugiono affirmed the contribution of our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific region and recommitted to deepening mutually beneficial economic and security cooperation. The Secretary also expressed gratitude to the Foreign Minister for Indonesia’s support for the Board of Peace as a founding member, as well as for its commitment to post-conflict reconstruction in Gaza.
