 Academic Parent Teacher Teams
Last week we held our first Academic Parent Teacher Teams (APTT) meeting and had a wonderful turnout from our families. A special thank you to our ESOL teachers—Ms. Hibdon, Ms. Cannock and Ms. Falcon—for facilitating the session, guiding families in setting meaningful literacy goals, and modeling practical strategies for what to do before reading a book and during reading to strengthen comprehension at home. Their work empowered families with clear tools to support student learning and reinforced the strong home–school partnership that makes our community so successful.
