Island Creek's Weekly Words: February 20

Dear Island Creek Families,

We had a wonderful three-day week filled with learning, laughter, and positive energy throughout the school. It’s always amazing to see how much our Crocs can accomplish in a short time when they feel supported and connected.

Thank you to our Kindergarten Families who attended this monring's Breakfast Bash.

As part of our renewed focus on kindness, we’ve been encouraging students to be intentional about how they speak to and treat one another. Kindness may seem simple, but its impact is powerful. As the saying goes, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” When students choose kindness, they help create an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.

Wednesday, February 25 is a 3-hour Early Release for school-age students at 12:20. Dismissal time and transportation arrangements will follow the same schedule as December's Early Release. If you have a change, please contact the office (571-642-6300) no later than 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24.
