IB Evaluation Visit
Dogwood will soon take part in its International Baccalaureate (IB) evaluation. This review happens every five years for all IB World Schools.
As part of the evaluation, IB staff will visit Dogwood on February 25 and 26 to see how our IB program is working. During their visit, they will meet with small groups of students, parents, teachers, and administrators. They will also tour the school and visit classrooms to see learning in action.
After the visit, the IB team will share positive feedback and recommendations to help Dogwood continue to grow and improve its IB program.
Celebrating a World of Reading at Dogwood Elementary
Get ready to celebrate Read Across The World Week from March 2–6! Throughout the week, our students will explore diverse stories while participating in fun daily themes like wearing rainbow colors for Reading is Colorful on Tuesday and snuggling up in PJs for Reading is Cozy on Thursday. We are especially excited to see everyone showing their school spirit on Friday for Dragons Love Books Day by wearing green or their favorite Dogwood gear! These snapshots of learning and high attendance truly highlight our community's commitment to literacy and showing up ready to grow.
