  • Fiddlers Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy join the Celtic All Stars to perform at the Somerville Theatre.

  • Rachel Weisz plays a married academic who falls for a younger man (Leo Woodall) in “Vladimir,” premiering on Netflix and also starring Boston native John Slattery.

  • Pixar’s latest animated adventure, “Hoppers,” leaps onto the silver screen, starring Meryl Streep and Dave Franco.

  • The Boston Ballet’s 2026 Winter Experience kicks off Thursday night at Citizens Opera House and runs through March 15.

Friday

  • Take a trip back in time with Netflix’s “The Dinosaurs,”narrated by Morgan Freeman and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

  • Stand-up star Dan Soder brings his “Golden Retriever of Comedy” tour to the Boch Center Shubert Theatre.

Saturday

  • Get a head start on St. Patrick’s Day with a family-friendly event at Natick’s Ten Trees Books, featuring children’s author Kate Jenness reading from her book “Mary McCrary the Irish Dance Fairy.”

  • Originally hailing from Dublin before moving stateside, comic David Nihill brings his “Taking Tangents” tour to the Wilbur.




Sunday

  • Bay State star Steve Carell is back on the small screen for New England native Bill Lawrence’s new show “Rooster,” premiering on HBO.

  • Country star Charley Crockett brings his “outlaw” sound to Roadrunner.

Ongoing

  • The Institute of Contemporary Art’s exhibition “Say It Loud: AAMARP, 1977 to Now” continues through Aug. 2.

Last chance

  • Eugène Ionesco’s “The Bald Soprano” and “The Lesson” wrap their runs at the Boston Center for the Arts’ Plaza Black Box Theatre on Sunday.

  • The exhibition “An Indigenous Present” concludes its stay at the ICA on Sunday.
