Features you may have missed in Geometry Expressions
Geometry Expressions and GXWeb share a common user interface, including drop‑down menus for drawing, constraints, and construction tools. If you've also had a look at GXWeb, and weren't sure of the differences, here are some great features in Geometry Expressions that you might have missed.
* You can easily create Ellipses, Hyperbola, Parabola, and Polygons (both regular and irregular). Give them Constraints, then obtain measurements (Symbolic or Real) and Equations of curves (the Calculate toolbox). * Upload a background image for your math model (Draw / Picture).
Insert Picture ⤴
* Use the Selection Arrow to move Constraints, Labels and Outputs on the screen for better readability. * Output mathematics from your drawing in a number of formats including Source Code, e.g. C++, Python, JavaScript, etc. (select math / Copy As) * Export your drawing in various formats including as an HTML page (File / Export).
More cool features will be illuminated in our next newsletter.
