We had a beautiful sunny weekend across the Illawarra and it was the perfect time to dive beneath the ocean's surface and meet some of our local marine creatures. Murray L Parkinson jumped in at the Bass Point Gravel Loader in Shellharbour and captured this beautiful photo of a cuttlefish on a Sunday morning dive. In the news, it's been a heavy week for us having to report another drowning in our area. After last week's double drowning tragedy at Shellharbour, a man in his 20s died at Werri Beach on the weekend. We're also continuing to follow the Tahmoor Colliery job cuts by speaking to those directly affected.

The Environment Protection Authority has ordered Manildra to spend $170,000 on community projects after its grain silos collapsed into the Shoalhaven River almost two years ago.
