Dear Beech Tree Families,
Hello and welcome to our next season in Northern Virginia, Spring of Deception. I think Third Winter is around the corner and then we can maybe settle into the real Spring.
First, a huge thank you goes out to Beech Tree teachers, staff, PTA members, families, and neighbors who made last weekend’s Fun Fair! such a huge success. We had great turnout, a tremendous number of cakes for our cakewalk, and an awesome array of raffle items generously donated from our community, including local businesses, teachers, and staff. Who gets to be Principal for the Day? You know, we are all super jealous, parents and students alike.
Speaking of generous local businesses, tomorrow is Restaurant Day at Jake’s Ice Cream!
Invite your friends and neighbors! Let's celebrate the start of one of our three regional Springs by getting Ice Cream together! And supporting an awesome local business.
Finally, we have a great opportunity to get our kids excited about English! (The subject not the subjected. No royalists here. Believe we fought a war about that, but I’m no historian….) See the message below from a student at Justice High School and the attached flyer. Love an ambitious and community-minded high schooler. Hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Your Beech Tree PTA

Dear Beech Tree Elementary School PTA,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Natalie Ponciano and I’m a senior and International Baccalaureate candidate at Justice High School in Falls Church, Virginia.
I am currently organizing a project with other peers and we would like to formally invite your community of students, staff, faculty, and families to our English Activities Fair on Thursday, April 16 at Justice High School in the Little Theater from 5PM-7PM. Students will have the opportunity to interact with literary clubs at Justice HS, learn about Justice’s own publications, engage with local authors, and participate in fun immersive literary related activities. We ask that all students are accompanied by an adult at all times as this is a family event.
Best regards,
Natalie Ponciano
