The new Japanese restaurant will go into the corner spot that used to hold Leilani Asian Fusion.

The city is now looking to hold a public hearing for the TIF district later in the year, and to vote on the matter in December or January.

Plan would have Leilani Asian Fusion go into first-floor space at the historic structure in downtown Aurora.

The county has until April 24 to implement the new federal rules related to the accessibility of website content.

The measure comes as federal legislators examine a bill that would require Americans to prove they’re U.S. citizens before registering to vote.

The case brought by the Republican National Committee challenges a Mississippi law allowing ballots cast by Election Day to be counted up to five days afterward. Illinois’ law permits such ballots to be counted for two weeks afterward.
