What you don’t see about yourself can hold you back as a leader. And it turns out that we’re often not great judges of ourselves, even when we think we are. Sometimes we’re simply unaware of a behavior or trait that’s causing problems, but on other occasions, where we see normal, even effective, behavior, others see tremendous deficits. Until we uncover these blind spots, we can’t move forward.
On April 16, clinical psychologist and business coach Martin Dubin, author of Blindspotting, will discuss his practice and explain how you can learn to do your own “blindspotting” to improve your leadership skills.
In this session, Martin will share six types of blind spots, helping us understand the process through examples of clients whose own “blindspotting” enabled them to unlock higher performance and stronger leadership. |
