But first: a hair oil that smells like Le Labo

here's the plan

You worked hard enough this week. Let us plan your weekend…

  1. 1.

The final weekend of March Madness tips off tonight with the Women’s Final Four: UConn faces South Carolina, while UCLA goes head-to-head with Texas (fingers crossed Madison Booker makes history…again), and we’re all in. The men play tomorrow, with Illinois vs. UConn (please let there be more hilarious reactions from this coach’s mom) and Michigan vs. Arizona. The championship games will follow on Sunday (for the women) and Monday (for the men). We would say good luck to those with perfect brackets, but, well, there are none.

  2. 2.

It’s official: Chic New York City women are building their spring wardrobes around these seven closet staples. The best part? You probably own most of them already.

  3. 3.

Whether you’re a Pringles loyalist or haven’t thought about them since school lunch (same), this viral two-ingredient, salty-sweet hack will send you to the store ASAP. Snack time is forever changed.

  4. 4.

If you’re suddenly short a reality-dating show to watch, Love Overboard would like a word. The Hulu series (all nine episodes are available to stream now) takes place on a yacht off the coast of Malta, where 16 singles show up looking for love. Naturally, there are a few wild twists: Only four couples, chosen at random, get to enjoy the luxurious topside of the boat, while everyone else must live and work in steerage. One way to get above deck? Breaking up one of the couples. Oh, and if you’re eliminated? You walk a literal plank. Safe to say, the show — described by host Gabby Windey as a National Geographic for hot, horny people — is out to sea in the best way. All aboard.

    Love Overboard
  5. 5.

Looking for a creative way to show off your spring flowers? The perfect bud vase is hiding in your fridge — and takes under five minutes to DIY.

My Non-Negotiables
Melissa Goldberg Non-Negotiables

Happy (almost) weekend. I’m headed to New York this weekend, and despite vast improvements at airports nationwide, I’ve been burned before. So I’m preparing for the worst but hoping for the best. That means I’ll…

  • Wear my new favorite travel pants. That’s right, after more than a decade, I’ve finally retired my airport leggings. The upgrade? The J.Crew ones on this list, which are as comfy as sweats yet as polished as real pants.

  • Play the card-based version of my favorite board game. My boyfriend and I got it as a White Elephant gift, and what started as “let’s try a round” quickly turned into “we won’t travel without it.” It’s playable in 15 minutes and infinitely easier to follow than mahjong.

  • Hoard what may be the greatest addition to the Reese’s lineup in years — while I still can. They’re only available for a limited time, and I’ve already gone through three bags.

  • Read this heartfelt and hilarious novel I’ve admittedly slept on for far too long. With the star-studded TV adaption coming this month (think: Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, and Nicole Kidman), now’s the perfect time to catch up.

  • Put on the most unexpected wellness accessory. Do they remind me of my grandma? Absolutely. Are they attractive? Not particularly. But they’ll keep me comfortable on the plane and ready to hit the ground running.
