When estrogen, dopamine, and serotonin drop, a woman’s focus, sleep, and mood — which had been propped up by these hormones — also crash. These shifts give way to brain fog and cognitive issues that accompany perimenopause.

In this presentation, we'll talk about the hormonal shifts that take place well before this stage, and how perimenopause specifically affects women with ADHD. Most importantly, we’ll discuss what you can do to ease perimenopause symptoms. You will learn:
  • How the brain is a target organ during perimenopause
  • How declining estrogen levels affect ADHD, mood, sleep, memory, and cognition
  • How to determine if you are entering perimenopause
  • Strategies for stabilizing hormone levels
  • Methods to improve your quality of life during this stage
