Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Events
Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary will be participating in upcoming community events where we could use your assistance.
Volunteers will assist Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary staff in running an outreach booth to introduce the public to the sanctuary. This includes talking to people, giving out information, and helping participants with a tableside activity. Volunteers will help with setting up the booth. This is an outdoor event.
Location: R.A. Apffel Park, aka East Beach 1923 Boddecker Rd. Galveston, TX 77550
Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
Volunteer shifts:
9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. 2 volunteers needed
12:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m. 2 volunteers needed
