If you're a fan of the K-pop band BTS, you may have seen a teaser video last month for the band's new album, "Arirang," which takes its name from a beloved Korean folk song. The video alludes to the first recording ever made of that song, a nearly 130-year-old wax cylinder preserved here at the American Folklife Center. In this blog, you can see the Arirang teaser video and hear the cylinders, with links to other Korean cultural resources at the Library of Congress.
