Ace Hardware Member Notice
I meant to reply earlier, but the afternoon got away from me and I just sat down again.
I did end up taking the longer path through the park, and it was absolutely the right decision because it cleared my head for the rest of the day.
The air felt cooler than I expected, and there were only a few people out, so everything seemed unusually calm.
I also listened to that playlist you sent, and I can see why you like it so much because it has a nice steady pace without being distracting.
After that I went home, tidied up the kitchen, watered the plants, and finally finished folding the laundry that had been waiting all week.
I am still thinking about your suggestion for the weekend, and I am leaning toward saying yes because it sounds easygoing and low pressure.
Let me know what time works best for you tomorrow since I should be around most of the morning.

I was thinking about what you asked, and honestly I probably made it sound more complicated than it really is.
The main thing that helped was breaking everything into smaller tasks and doing one at a time instead of trying to finish all of it at once.
Once I stopped bouncing between different things, the whole day felt a lot more manageable and I was less distracted.
I also finally moved that chair near the window like you suggested, and now that corner actually feels usable instead of awkward.
It is funny how one small change can make a room seem calmer without needing to redo anything else around it.
I have not decided about Sunday yet, though I am tempted because being outside for a while sounds better than sitting around all afternoon.
If you are still up for it, send me the general plan when you have a minute and I will let you know as soon as I sort out the rest of my week.
