Today, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a series of infographics focused on tobacco and nicotine use and cessation activities among Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) beneficiaries. The infographics present data on the prevalence of tobacco and nicotine use among different populations of Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries and describe Medicaid- and CHIP-funded tobacco cessation treatment and interventions for adult beneficiaries.
