Supervisory Librarian, Head, Access Services Section (Vacancy#: VAR003227)

The position serves as the Head, Access Services Section, Researcher Engagement and General Collections (REGC) Division, General and International Collections Directorate (GICD), Researcher Collections and Services Service Unit (RCS), within the Library Collections and Service Group (LCSG) at the Library of Congress (LOC).

The position reports directly to the Assistant Chief, Researcher Engagement and General Collections Division and is responsible for the analysis of major issues in information access and dissemination, provision of reference and collections services to the Library's users and in support of collections-related programs, serving as the technical expert on multiple library systems, and providing high-quality and carefully measured customer services to a large constituency. The high quality of the reference and research service that the Library provides is directly related to the practices and procedures developed and implemented in REGC.
