Today, the FDA posted an FDA Voices blog sharing how we’re implementing the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA) to positively impact public health. Over the last three years, the FDA has worked tirelessly implementing MoCRA and we have seen results including:
- Adverse events reported by industry increased by more than three-fold and are now publicly accessible through our new monitoring dashboard.
- Registered cosmetic product facilities increased nearly three-fold (15K+ facilities now registered).
- Cosmetic product listings increased by thirty-fold (1M+ products now tracked).
