Dear Colleague,

I’m excited to invite you to an upcoming workshop that I’m hosting with The Chronicle of Higher Education in response to the growing epidemic of loneliness, increasing anxiety, and the critical need for more positivity on college campuses. This three-hour virtual program is both timely and inspiring, rooted in the science of human connection.

We are all hard-wired for connection through meaningful relationships. Yet in today’s fast-paced, media-saturated, and post-pandemic world, that natural, vital intimacy is becoming increasingly rare for students. Especially in the current climate of uncertainty and disruption in higher ed, it can feel like an uphill battle to support your students through the difficulties they’re facing while staying afloat yourself.

Our program will not only help you understand the context of loneliness and anxiety that your students are facing, but also create strategies to navigate these complex conversations with clarity and direction. You’ll walk away with guidance that can help both you and your students through the sustained times of turbulence.

Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy declared loneliness a public health epidemic, and our campuses are feeling the lasting impacts of this amid the broader uncertainty of this moment. Join us in just two weeks for insights and strategies that will help you and your students reclaim connection, presence, and purpose in campus life.

We look forward to sharing this important conversation with you!

Warm regards,

Dr. Kimberly Quinn
