National Museum of Mexican Art plans a grand new performance stage, with the help of Rick Bayless

For decades, the National Museum of Mexican Art’s performance space has hosted leaders, artists, writers and performers from across Latin America and the Chicago area, with its programming only growing. Recently, the Bayless Family Foundation made a $1 million donation to help fund the museum’s $5 million West Wing renovation, transforming the makeshift event space into a professional theater.
