Credit: Reuters | | New hantavirus cases are being confirmed after countries such as France, the UK and Ireland began repatriating their citizens from the MV Hondius cruise ship, currently docked in Spain's Canary Islands. The US health department said two passengers on board a repatriation flight were travelling in "biocontainment units out of an abundance of caution" after one tested positive for the virus and another showed mild symptoms. A French national has also tested positive since leaving the ship. Seven other US passengers had already returned and are being monitored in their home states, with the World Health Organization recommending 42 days of isolation for those leaving the ship. Credit: EPA/Shutterstock | | The Eurovision Song Contest is facing its biggest boycott in its 70-year history. This year's show, which has officially landed in Austria, is being overshadowed by a ferocious dispute over Israel's inclusion, which has seen broadcasters from five countries withdraw their participation in the event in protest.
