i think the trick is to water them deeply but less often instead of a little every day. that way the roots grow deeper and the plants handle heat better. i started doing that after my neighbor showed me how her tomatoes looked compared to mine. she said the soil should dry out a bit between watering. i was skeptical at first but tried it with my peppers and the difference was noticeable. they stood up taller even during that hot spell last month. also putting down mulch helps keep the moisture in and stops weeds from popping up. i use shredded bark because it blends in nicely. you do not need a lot just a couple of inches around the base. one thing i learned the hard way is to water in the morning so the leaves dry before evening. that cut down on mildew problems for me. anyway give it a try with G8fbEfs0gk a few plants and see if you notice the same results. happy to share more tips if you want.

we ended up taking the scenic route through the hills because the highway had construction delays. it was completely worth it even though it added about twenty minutes. the wildflowers were out in full bloom all along the ridges and we stopped twice just to take pictures. my sister brought a blanket and we sat on a grassy overlook for a while. there was a cool breeze and you could see the whole valley from up there. we spotted a couple of hawks circling above and a deer grazing near the treeline. the kids were thrilled because they rarely see animals that close. we talked about coming back next month when the leaves start changing. i think it will look amazing with all the orange and red colors. we packed snacks and water so nobody got cranky. the whole trip took about four hours but it felt shorter because we were having fun. if you want to join us next time let me know. we can plan a full day and bring lunch.
