BREAKING: Mark Fuhrman, former LAPD detective who investigated O.J. Simpson, is dead

Mark Fuhrman, the former Los Angeles police detective who became infamous as one of the leads investigating O.J. Simpson after the deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman, has died, a coroner in Idaho confirmed. He was 76.

Fuhrman was partially blamed for Simpson’s acquittal in the murder trial after the defense produced recordings of Fuhrman making racist statements, which he had denied doing under oath on the stand.
