Thirteen years ago we had to unwillingly say goodbye. Your memory and legacy lives on in our hearts and minds. We miss you every day, and wish you were still here, but we are so glad that you don't have to deal with these very trying times. We know that you are surrounded by family and friends that went before you. Our brother John, your beloved Val, and your son-in-law Chris have since joined you. Thomas Massey, 70, of Mt. Prospect, passed away peacefully on May 15, with his loving wife at his side. He was the devoted husband of Elizabeth Massey (nee Weigel) for 46 years; loving father of Kathleen (Kristoffer) Willing, Robert and Elizabeth. Cherished grandfather of Kaleigh, Leah, Kara, Kaitlin and Joseph. Dear brother of Robert (Susan) Massey. Fond uncle and cousin of many. On the evening of Wednesday, April 22nd, Barbara Anne Kalina, born Barbara Anne Gebes, daughter of Frances Lies Gebes and George Gebes, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She lived her life fiercely with an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. At eighty years of age, you might find Barbara zip lining through the canopy of the Costa Rican jungle or hang gliding in North Carolina. All this while fighting a long battle with cancer

Jean Elisabeth Kennedy ("Jeanie"), 69, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, in Melbourne, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 4, 1956, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to David and Audrey (Ludwig) Kennedy. In 1960, Jeanie's family moved to Des Plaines, Illinois, where she was raised. She graduated from Maine West High School in 1974, where she was a member of the Pom Squad and was elected to the Brotherhood Society. She attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where she earned Dean's List honors and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She later completed her Bachelor's degree in Physiology at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale
