Weed started giving me anxiety 8 or 9 years ago.
The idea of my mom calling and needing something while I'm couch-locked and useless - couldn't handle it.
Alcohol took longer but same deal.
Headaches. Nausea. Garbage sleep. Workouts. Low-grade depression the next day.
Biggest waste of money and calories of all time.
So I basically just stopped. I'll have a beer every couple months if I want one. That's it.
That was the beginning of a big shift for me.
Once I quit weed, I started noticing a bunch of other stuff I was... tolerating?
Social events I didn't want to do. Evenings wasted. Saying yes because it was easier than explaining myself.
Turns out weed and alcohol are gateways drugs after all...
Once I cut those out, I started fixing the shit I'd been avoiding - my business grew, my body changed, and I became more present in my relationship.
Life's better when you stop pouring energy into things you don't care about.
