Office of the Spokesperson The below is attributable to Spokesperson Tommy Pigott: Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met today with Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov in Washington, D.C. Deputy Secretary Landau and Foreign Minister Meredov discussed the continued expansion of commercial ties that will mutually benefit the United States and Turkmenistan. The two officials further agreed on the importance of deepening economic ties, educational-cultural exchange, and security cooperation between our two countries.
