Yeah I think starting the inventory reorganization from the back storage area is the best plan. We have been putting it off and the bins are getting overcrowded so clearing the back first lets us rotate stock more efficiently. I checked the schedule and next Tuesday afternoon looks open if everyone is available. We should plan for about three hours to get through everything properly. The new labeling system is working really well in the front section so we should use the same format for the back. Let me know if Tuesday works for your team or if we need to look at another day later in the week. I can bring extra markers and label sheets so you do not need to worry about bringing anything. That way we can stay consistent across both areas and make it easier for everyone to find what they need quickly.

Also I wanted to mention that the shelf units in the back could use a good wipe down while we are moving things around. We can knock that out at the same time and it will save us from having to do it separately later. I will grab some cleaning supplies from the supply closet before we start.

I tried that new slow cooker recipe you told me about and it came out really well. The key was browning the meat first before adding it to the pot which made a big difference in flavor. I added a bit more garlic than what the recipe called for and used fresh herbs instead of dried. Next time I will let it cook on low for an extra hour because the vegetables were still a little firm for my taste. I served it over rice but next time I might try it with crusty bread instead. The leftovers tasted even better the next day after the flavors had more time to develop. If you want I can send you my version with the changes I made.

I am planning to make it again this weekend for a small dinner and I think I will double the recipe so there is plenty for everyone. I also want to test it with adding some mushrooms about halfway through to see if they hold up better than when they go in at the start. Let me know if you have tried anything similar with your slow cooker because I am curious how other vegetables work in that dish.
