I really enjoyed that book you recommended last week. I stayed up way too late finishing it on Tuesday. The characters felt so real and the plot twists caught me off guard. I think you would also like the one I just started about a gardener who discovers something unusual in their backyard. It has a similar pacing but a completely different setting. Let me know if you want to borrow it when I am done. I should finish it by this weekend hopefully. Work has been busy but nothing too stressful honestly. Just the usual deadlines and meetings that could have been emails. I finally organized my desk drawer though so that feels like a win. I finally started painting the spare room last weekend. I went with a soft sage green color and it turned out better than I expected. The prep work took forever though. Taping edges and moving furniture around was the hardest part. I still need to do a second coat on one wall but I ran out of paint. I got a sample quart but it was not enough. I will pick up another one tomorrow. The room already looks so much fresher though. It used to feel so dull and now it has some life to it. I am thinking of adding some simple white shelves on the accent wall maybe some small plants or framed photos. Nothing too elaborate just cozy and clean. I have been watching a lot of home improvement videos lately and it is making me want to tackle more projects but I should probably finish this one first. One thing at a time. Let me know if you have any favorite paint brands or finishing tips. I also started organizing my closet last night but only got through the shirts before I got distracted. It is a process.
