Yeah, I finally decided to tackle that IKEA cabinet this weekend. Let me tell you, it started out great – sorted all the pieces, laid out the tools, felt super organized. About an hour in, I realized I had attached the back panel upside down. I had to take apart almost the whole thing to fix it. By the end, I was sitting in the middle of the living room surrounded by all these little wooden dowels and Allen wrenches, just laughing. Honestly, the instructions might as well be written in hieroglyphics sometimes. But it's actually standing now, mostly level, and it looks pretty decent. Only a couple of extra screws left over, which I'm choosing to interpret as a design feature rather than a mistake. The whole process took way longer than I thought it would, but there's something satisfying about finally getting it done. Anyway, hope your weekend was less chaotic. Let's catch up properly soon!

So I finally signed up for those guitar lessons I kept talking about. The first one was a total reality check – my fingers completely refused to cooperate, and I’m pretty sure the chord I was playing sounded nothing like what the instructor was playing. He kept saying it would take time, but I left feeling like I had all thumbs. I’ve been practicing a little bit every day, and I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. Just switching between two chords feels like a major win at this point. It’s a lot harder than it looks in all those videos online. Still, it’s kind of nice to have something new to focus on after work. I’ll keep at it for now and see how it goes. Maybe in a few months I’ll be able to play something recognizable. Hope things are going well on your end. Talk soon!
