Thanks for your note about the neighborhood cleanup. I think Saturday the 14th works well. We can meet at the park at 8am and divide into teams. Let me know if you want to bring extra gloves or if anyone has a trailer for larger debris. I'll check with the city for a dumpster. Also remind everyone to wear closed-toe shoes. I'll send a reminder Thursday.

I think your idea for the hiking route is good but I'd suggest we start earlier to avoid afternoon heat. The trailhead parking fills up by 9am. We should also bring plenty of water and maybe pack a lunch since there's no food available on the mountain. I'll bring my first aid kit in case anyone gets a scrape. Let me know if you want to carpool from my house.
