Hey a, With applications closing on the 12th June, I want to answer all the questions I've been getting this week. 1. How is this different from The Confident Communicator with your team? The Confident Communicator is delivered by my team of Cambridge CELTA-certified coaches. It's an excellent programme and the results speak for themselves. This, however, is different. Every single element (the diagnostic, the welcome call, every coaching session, every piece of feedback) is with me personally. I haven't taken on students directly in over four years, and this summer I'm working with just three people who apply. That level of access, customisation, and personalisation simply isn't available anywhere else (especially on platforms like italki with €20 an hour teachers and generic online pronunciation courses). 2. I've tried other pronunciation lessons before and it didn't work for me. Why would this be different? This is probably the question I hear most. And the honest answer is:
Everything in this programme starts with your specific accent, your specific goals, and your specific professional context. Your syllabus won't look like anyone else's because it's built entirely around you and completely custom-tailored to you. 3. Is €4,997 negotiable? No. But a payment plan is available. You can make two payments of €2,499. The first at the start of the programme and the second in week five. If you'd like to discuss the payment plan, hit reply and email me directly. 4. What level of English do I need? At least a B2 level. The focus of this programme is entirely on accent and pronunciation — not grammar or vocabulary. I want to spend our ten weeks on the things that are actually holding you back. 5. Will I lose my native accent completely? This is something we'd discuss in your welcome call once I've heard your current accent. The goal isn't to erase where you're from. It's to make sure your accent stops getting in the way of how you're perceived. If your goal is to "sound as native as possible", then let's aim for that in our ten weeks together and bring you as close as we realistically can. But you've got to be prepared to put in the work, a. 6. What if I have to miss a lesson? Give me at least 24 hours notice and we'll work around it. I'm very strict about the 24-hour policy — my time is as valuable as yours. You have 11 weeks to complete your 10 sessions, so you have space for holidays and sick days. Any other questions? Email me directly (just hit reply) before the 12th June. Kind regards, |
