Hey thanks for the note. I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend and I have to say it feels really good to have everything in its place. I sorted through all the old boxes and found some stuff I had completely forgotten about including a few old books and some camping gear that still looked brand new. I set up some shelves along the back wall and put all the seasonal stuff up higher so the floor space is mostly clear now. I can actually park both cars in there again which is a nice change. I also found an old board game I used to play as a kid and I might bring it out for game night sometime. Y9WopoyLOUvrDy The whole project took longer than I expected because I kept stopping to look through things but it was worth it. I still need to organize the workbench area but that's a project for another weekend. Anyway let me know if you want to borrow any of the camping gear for your trip next month. I have an extra stove and a decent tent that might work for what you need. It was nice to spend a whole day doing something tangible and see real progress at the end of it. Sometimes those kinds of days are the most satisfying.

I finally got around to trying that new coffee shop on the corner this morning and it was really good. The line was out the door but it moved fast and the staff were friendly despite being busy. I ordered a latte with oat milk and it came out perfectly balanced not too hot and with a nice foam art on top. The space inside has these big windows that let in tons of natural light and there were a few people reading and working on laptops. I snagged a seat by the window and ended up staying for about an hour just watching the street and relaxing. They also had a small shelf with local goods like honey and candles which I thought was a nice touch. I might make it a regular spot on weekends since it's only a few blocks from my place and the atmosphere is way better than the chain place I usually go to. The music was low and acoustic which helped keep the whole vibe calm and pleasant. I noticed they have a small patio out back too so that could be nice once the weather warms up again.
