k0c1gdng39 Hey, I finally got around to trying that recipe you sent last week and it turned out even better than I expected. I swapped out the regular pasta for the chickpea kind and added a bit more garlic and a squeeze of lemon at the end. My wife said it was the best version I've made so far. The kids actually cleaned their plates which never happens with anything green. I also wanted to ask if you have any tips for keeping basil plants alive on the kitchen windowsill because mine always get leggy and sad after a few weeks. I've been watering them every other day and keeping them in a south-facing window but they still seem to struggle. I read something about pinching back the tops to encourage bushier growth but I'm not sure how often to do it. Let me know what works for you. vcxOiXWnnP7M Also we're thinking about doing a weekend trip up north in early fall and I remember you mentioning a great spot with cabin rentals near a lake. If you still have the name of that place I'd love to check it out. We're looking for something that's not too touristy but still has good hiking trails nearby and maybe a place that rents kayaks. The kids are old enough now to handle a short paddle and they've been asking to go camping but we're more of a glamping family honestly. Hope you and the family are doing well and enjoying the summer weather while it lasts.

I finally finished reorganizing the garage last weekend and it feels like a completely different space. I installed those heavy-duty shelving units from the hardware store and labeled every single bin so now I can actually find things when I need them. My wife was honestly skeptical when I started the project because the garage had become this black hole of random boxes and sports equipment that we haven't used in years. But after three full days of sorting and hauling stuff to donation I have to say it was worth every minute. I found my old set of wrenches that I thought I lost during the move and a box of holiday decorations that we had completely forgotten about. The best part is that I can now park my car in the garage again which is huge for the winter months when scraping ice off the windshield gets old really fast. Next weekend I'm planning to tackle the home office situation because right now it's cluttered with paperwork and old electronics that need to be recycled. I also need to finally set up that standing desk converter I bought months ago but never got around to assembling. If you have any tips for cable management I'm all ears because the spaghetti mess behind my desk is driving me crazy. I was thinking about getting some adhesive cable clips and a sleeve to bundle everything together but I'm not sure if that will actually look clean or just create a bigger mess. Anyway let me know if you want any before and after photos of the garage and maybe it will inspire you to take on your own organization project this season.
