We are writing to share an important update about how Kanga operates. To comply with the new European Union MiCA regulatory framework, we are splitting Kanga into two separate, independent platforms starting July 1, 2026:
- Kanga Exchange EU - operated by SIA Alpha Route under a Class 3 (highest tier) MiCA license from the Bank of Latvia. This platform will serve our European Economic Area (EEA) clients at kangaexchange.eu.
- Kanga Global - operated by 3‑102‑93‑8308 SRL, based in the Republic of Costa Rica. This platform will serve clients outside the EEA at kanga.global.
To ensure your consumer rights are fully protected, we will send you a separate email detailing exactly what this means for your funds.
Updates to the Kanga Global Terms of Use
Because of this split, we are updating the Kanga Global Terms of Use. The key changes are:
- New Operator: The service will be operated by 3‑102‑93‑8308 SRL (Republic of Costa Rica).
- Governing Law: Contracts will now be governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica (subject to mandatory local consumer protection laws).
- Name & Website: “Kanga Exchange” will become “Kanga Global”, and the new web address will be kanga.global.

Updates to Services & Privacy Policy
We are also updating the terms for some of our specific services to reflect the new Operator. To continue using these services, you will be asked to review and accept the new terms. We have also updated our Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to read.
When do the changes take effect, and what do I need to do?
These changes take effect on July 1, 2026. You will simply need to accept the new terms to continue using the platform.
