We're updating FACEIT's Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") and Privacy Notice.
The updated T&Cs will take effect on 1 September 2026.
The updated Privacy Notice will take effect on 1 September 2026.
Why we’re making these changes to the FACEIT T&Cs
We’ve updated the T&Cs to make them clearer and more comprehensive, and to better reflect how the FACEIT platform works today. This includes updates on things like account eligibility, verification, subscriptions, prizes, content moderation, gameplay integrity, and how certain platform features and recommendations operate.
What is changing in the FACEIT T&Cs
In summary, the updated T&Cs include changes relating to:
- eligibility, age requirements, and competition participation;
- account registration, account security, and multi-accounting restrictions;
- identity and eligibility verification;
- subscriptions, payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds;
- prizes and prize-claiming deadlines;
- user content, moderation, and reporting illegal content;
- anti-cheat, anti-spam, gameplay integrity, and enforcement measures;
- recommender systems and how certain content is ranked or suggested;
- privacy-related signposting and certain regional disclosures;
- liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.
You can review the full updated T&Cs here.
Please note that if you cancel your subscription or deactivate your account, our standard cancellation terms apply. If you are based in the EU and have purchased a Paid Subscription online, you may be entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, but only if you have not yet logged in or started using the subscription. Outside of this right, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable for any unused portion of your subscription period.
If you do not agree with the updated T&Cs, you should stop using the FACEIT platform and Services before the effective date. You can also request deletion of your account through the customer support portal. Alternatively, if you do not agree with the updated T&Cs after reviewing them, click here to be logged out from FACEIT. Please do not log in again afterwards, as continued use of the platform will be considered acceptance of the new T&Cs.
