A large study found parasites in 20% of people with GI symptoms. But they're routinely missed, misdiagnosed, or mistaken for SIBO, candida, or histamine intolerance. What makes them so hard to pin down is how much their symptoms overlap with other conditions: food intolerances, chronic fatigue, constipation, even hives. Today I'm joined by my fellow clinicians, Dr. Scott Spiridigliozzi and Dr. Jake Vonfeldt, for a clinical roundtable on parasites: what we're seeing in practice, how we're testing, and what's actually working.
